Didn't expect a side handle to actually earn its keep, but the extra mounting spots on this one keep my pliers and lip grip right where I can grab them mid-drift. Solid upgrade for the price.
The side handle doubles as a spot to clip my paddle leash and pliers, so my deck stays way less cluttered on the water. Installation on my SS127 took maybe ten minutes with the existing holes. Solid upgrade for the price.
Mounted these on my fishing kayak and the extra organization spots are genuinely handy for keeping pliers and a drink within reach instead of digging through the crate. Wish the hardware came with slightly clearer instructions, but once they were on they felt solid.
