Wore this on a windy hike and my ears stayed warm the whole time. The recycled fleece is genuinely soft against the skin, and the 10.5 inch length covers my ears without sliding.
The recycled polyester fleece is genuinely soft against my forehead, and it stays put during my morning runs without sliding around. Only gripe is it's a bit warm for milder days, but for cold weather it's been great.
