Wore these on a wet, rocky section of the AT last weekend and my feet stayed dry and blister-free the whole 12 miles. The midweight cushioning under the heel is spot on without feeling bulky in my boots.
The cushioning in these is exactly right—thick enough underfoot for long days but not so bulky they bunch up in my boots. The micro crew height hits that sweet spot above my hiking shoes without riding up my calf.
Wore these on a wet, rocky stretch of trail last weekend and the cushioning under the heel and ball of my foot made a real difference by mile eight. The midweight knit kept my feet warm without turning into a sweatbox. Nice knowing part of the money goes to trail maintenance too.
