The merino blend actually keeps me from overheating when I duck in and out of stores all day. It's softer against the skin than my old polyester fleece, and the updated fit isn't boxy through the waist.
Wore this on a chilly morning hike and it handled the temperature swings better than I expected. The updated fit is roomier through the shoulders, though the sleeves run a touch long on me. Solid fleece for layering.
The merino blend really does keep me from overheating on brisk walks, and the updated fit sits closer without feeling tight. Only wish the sleeves were a touch longer, but it's been my go-to layer all week.
