Wore this on a chilly morning hike and the gridded channels actually do trap warmth without making me clammy on the climb. The high-pile interior feels ridiculously soft against a t-shirt.
Wore this on a windy 30-degree hike and stayed warm the whole time — the grid channels really do trap heat without getting clammy. The high-pile fleece inside feels almost plush against my skin.
The high-pile fleece inside really does hold heat well, and the grid channels keep it from feeling bulky under a shell. Only gripe is the sleeves run a touch long on me, but that's easy enough to live with.
