Swapped these onto my poles before a muddy trail day and the bigger footprint really bites into soft ground instead of sliding. They've held up fine on rocky sections too, no wobble at the connection point.
The wider tip makes a noticeable difference on gravel and loose dirt—way less slipping than the stock points. They've held up fine after a few muddy hikes, no wear showing yet.
Swapped these onto my poles before a rocky trail day and the wider rubber base really grips on gravel and wet roots. They're quiet on pavement too, which I didn't expect from a trekking tip.
