Wore these on a wet, rocky trail last weekend and the grip held solid the whole way down. The cushioning underfoot is plush enough that my knees didn't ache after 8 miles, which never happens.
The grip on loose gravel really surprised me, and the cushioning held up fine on a long descent. They're heavier than my old pair but feel way sturdier on rough ground.
