The shorter inseam is exactly what I wanted—no more shorts bunching up under a pack waistbelt. The lower rise sits right where it should, and the side slits make them feel way less restrictive than my old pair.
Wore these on a humid hike and the side slits at the hem actually let air through instead of sticking to my thighs. The lower rise sits right where I want it, no constant tugging.
The 2.5-inch inseam is exactly what I wanted for hot runs, no chafing at all. Those little side slits at the hem make a bigger difference than I expected, and the lower rise sits right where it should.
