Installed these on my wagon last weekend and the plusnuts made it way easier than I expected — no drilling drama, just a clean bolt-up. Towers pop on and off in minutes, so I can run naked most of the time and only mount the bars when I actually need to haul. Solid.
The low-profile look with the towers off is exactly what I wanted, no ugly bars sticking up when I'm not hauling anything. Paired them with Skyline Towers and Landing Pads and the whole setup stayed rock solid with two kayaks on the highway. Drilling took some patience, but the plusnuts hold tight.
