Took it on a four-mile hike to a picnic and the shoulder straps actually made the weight feel manageable. Fit two wine bottles upright in the main compartment with room to spare for snacks.
Loaded this up with twenty cans and a bottle of wine for a picnic and everything stayed cold the whole afternoon. The backpack straps make the walk from the car way easier than hauling a hard cooler.
Took this on a full-day float trip and it held ice from morning till we got off the river, which genuinely surprised me. The backpack straps make the hike down to the water way easier than lugging a hard cooler. Only gripe is the opening takes some getting used to when you're reaching in for a cold
