My 18-month-old can actually pull these on by herself thanks to the wide opening, which is a small miracle at drop-off time. The insulation keeps her toes warm on our cold kitchen floor, though the sizing runs a touch big so she'll grow into them.
The slip-on style is genuinely handy for my toddler, who can pull them on herself. The insulation feels a bit thin for really cold floors though, so I wouldn't call them warm slippers.
