My kid wore these straight from the beach into the creek and they dried before we even got back to the car. The webbing straps don't rub at all, and he can pull them on himself without any fuss.
The quick-dry webbing is genuinely handy, they were dry by the time we got home from the pool. But the fit runs a bit narrow for my kid's wide feet, and the straps took a few days to stop rubbing.
