The heavyweight fabric is no joke—it actually keeps the wind out, unlike the thin flannels I've owned. The relaxed fit gives me room to layer a tee underneath without feeling bulky. Wore it straight out of the bag on a chilly morning and it felt broken in already.

Wore this flannel on a windy beach day and it actually blocked the chill without feeling stiff. The relaxed fit gives me room to move, but the heavy fabric still holds its shape after a wash.

The heavyweight fabric feels properly sturdy without being stiff, and the relaxed fit means I can layer a tee under it on cold mornings at the beach. Wore it all weekend and it barely wrinkled.
