Tento kůl vychází z osvědčeného designu Y-profilu našeho původního kůlu GroundhogTM. Menší a lehčí design snižuje hmotnost, přičemž nabízí podobný výkon ve středně těžké až pevné půdě. Hliník řady 7000 poskytuje dlouholetou pevnost a odolnost. Prodává se jednotlivě.
Swapped my old steel pegs for these and the weight difference in my pack was noticeable right away. The Y-beam shape bit into the firm soil on my last trip and they didn't budge.
Swapped these in for my old steel stakes and the weight savings on the way in were noticeable. The Y-beam bites into packed dirt better than I expected for something this small. Held fine through a windy night at about 9,000 feet.
Held fine through two nights of wind and the Y-beam bites into packed dirt better than I expected. Only gripe is they bend a little if you hammer them into rocky ground. The 7000-series aluminum keeps them light in the pack though.
