Two muddy trail days in and my feet stayed bone dry, which honestly surprised me for a mid boot. The new outsole really bites on wet rock, and the cushioning midsole made the downhill miles way easier on my knees.
These boots have kept my feet completely dry through two rainy hikes so far, which is more than I can say for my last pair. The new grippier outsole really digs in on wet rocks, and the cushioning midsole makes the downhill sections way easier on my knees.
Wore these on a muddy ridge trail last weekend and the new grippier outsole kept me steady on wet rock the whole way down. The cushioning in the midsole is noticeably smoother than my old pair, and my feet stayed bone dry crossing a shallow creek.
