Wore these on a rainy shoulder-season hike and the water beaded right off — they were dry in maybe ten minutes after the drizzle stopped. The stretchy fabric never once felt restrictive on the scrambly sections.
These have become my go-to for hiking trips — they're so light I barely notice them in my pack, and the quick-dry fabric handled a surprise drizzle without staying damp. The stretchy waistband and cuffs keep everything in place without digging in.
Wore these on a muddy trail run and they dried fast enough that I wasn't sitting in damp pants on the drive home. The stretchy fabric moves well on climbs, and the cuffs stay put without digging in.
