Wore this on a chilly morning hike and it kept me comfortable the whole time without feeling bulky. The relaxed fit is roomy through the shoulders but doesn't look sloppy, and the waffle texture has held up fine through a few washes.
The waffle texture is thicker than I expected, which is perfect for chilly mornings on the porch with coffee. Sleeves are long enough to cover my wrists without looking sloppy, and the relaxed fit doesn't bunch up under a jacket.
I've been wearing this waffle shirt almost every chilly morning since it arrived. The relaxed fit gives me room to layer a tee underneath, and the waffle texture feels substantial without being bulky.
