The fleece lining is what sold me—it actually sits against your ears instead of letting wind whistle through. The cabling looks nicer in person too, more textured than I expected from the photos.
Wore this on a windy walk and the high-pile fleece lining kept my ears toasty the whole time. The cable detail looks nicer in person than I expected, and it stays put without squeezing my head.
The fleece lining is what sold me — it's genuinely soft against my forehead instead of itchy like my old wool one. Wore it on a windy 20-degree walk and my ears stayed warm the whole time. The cabling looks nicer in person too.
