Bought this for my daughter's rainy walk to school and she came home completely dry. The DryVent fabric actually breathes, so she isn't sweaty by the time she gets there, and the water-repellent finish makes the rain bead right off.
Took this on a soggy camping trip and the water-repellent finish held up nicely through a couple hours of drizzle. Only gripe is the hood runs a bit big on my daughter, but the three-piece design still keeps the rain off her face.
The DryVent fabric actually keeps my son dry on the walk to school, and the water-repellent finish beads up nicely in drizzle. Only gripe is the hood runs a bit big on him, but he layers a beanie under it fine.
