The double-sided shearling is genuinely as soft as it looks, and it's already become my default layer for cool evenings on the porch. Zipping it up over a t-shirt is plenty warm without feeling bulky.
Wore this on a chilly morning hike and it kept me warm without feeling bulky at all. The full zip makes it easy to layer over a hoodie, and the recycled shearling has that soft, broken-in feel right out of the box.
The double-sided shearling is ridiculously soft, and it's warm enough that I've stopped reaching for my heavier coat on 40-degree mornings. The full zip glides smoothly too. I've washed it twice already and it hasn't pilled at all, which honestly surprised me.
