The genuine shearling lining is what sold me, and it hasn't flattened out after a couple months of daily wear. I shuffle out to grab the mail in them too since the rubber sole handles the driveway fine.
Wore these straight out of the box to grab the mail and forgot I still had them on — the rubber sole grips wet concrete way better than my old house-only pair. The genuine shearling has that dense, springy feel underfoot, not the flat fuzzy stuff.
The shearling lining is genuinely warm without making my feet sweat, and the rubber sole means I can step out to grab the mail without swapping shoes. Only gripe is they run a touch narrow, so I'd size up if you're between sizes.
