Took this on a rocky six-mile climb and the pack never bounced around once. The drinking tube stays right where I can grab it without looking, which saved me a few stumbles on the scrambles.
Took this on a 12-mile ridge hike and the 1.5L bladder lasted the whole morning without me needing to stop and dig out a bottle. The bite valve flows fast and doesn't leak in my pack, which was my main worry before buying.
The 1.5L bladder is the sweet spot for a half-day hike — I filled it once and never had to stop and dig out a bottle. Only gripe is the bite valve takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do it's smooth sipping on the move.
