Took this on a beach trip and it floats just like promised, so no panicking when it hit the water. The soft neoprene edges are gentle enough that my kid can catch it without flinching.

The gripper lining actually works, even with sweaty hands during a long round. It's soft enough that my kid can catch it without flinching, and it stuffs into a jacket pocket when we're done.

Brought this on a camping trip and it floats, which saved me after a wild throw into the lake. The gripper lining actually helps on wet mornings, and the soft neoprene edges mean no sting when my kid catches it wrong.
