My daughter wore this through a soggy soccer tournament and stayed completely dry underneath. The DRYVENT shell actually breathes too, so she wasn't clammy after running around. The hood stays put in wind, which was my biggest worry.
Bought this for my 8-year-old and the DRYVENT shell actually holds up—she came home dry after a soggy walk to school. The water-repellent finish beads off nicely and it doesn't feel clammy inside like her old jacket did.
My daughter wore this through a full week of rainy camp drop-offs and stayed completely dry, even sitting in puddles. The DRYVENT shell actually breathes too, so she wasn't sweaty underneath like her old jacket. The hood stays put when she runs, which is a small thing but it matters.
