My kid wore this hoodie to the beach and stuffed shells in the kanga pocket the whole way home. The washed fleece felt broken-in from day one, no stiff break-in period at all.
The fleece is so soft after washing that my daughter wears it straight out of the dryer. The kanga pocket is a nice touch too — she stuffs shells in there every beach trip.
My son has basically lived in this hoodie since it arrived. The washed fleece is genuinely soft straight out of the package, no stiffness at all, and the kanga pocket is big enough for him to stuff his hands and snacks in. Held up fine through two washes already.
