The hinge action is stiff at first, but after a few trips it loosens up and now I can flip the Dry Pod forward with one hand to grab stuff. It holds the pod down solidly on choppy water, which is exactly what I needed.
Does what it says and keeps the dry pod locked down, but the strap itself feels pretty basic for the price. Hinging it forward works fine once you get the hang of it, though it takes more force than I expected.
