The grid channels inside this fleece really do trap heat — I noticed it within ten minutes of wearing it outside. The high-pile lining is genuinely soft against bare skin, not scratchy like my last jacket.
Wore this on a windy 40-degree morning and the grid channels really do hold heat without feeling bulky. The bond finish on the outside blocks the gusts better than I expected.
The high-pile fleece on the inside is genuinely warm, and those gridded channels keep me from sweating on the walk to the train. Only gripe is the cuffs run a bit snug over a thick sweater.
