Wore these straight out of the box on a muddy trail and they barely weighed me down. The street-to-trail look means I don't feel silly grabbing coffee after a hike, which is exactly what I wanted.
The women's-specific fit actually makes a difference — no heel slip at all on steep descents. They're light enough that I forget I'm wearing hiking shoes, and they still look fine when I stop for coffee on the way home.
Took these out for a quick day hike and the light weight really stood out—my feet didn't feel dragged down by the end. The women's-specific fit hugs my narrow heel nicely, though the toe box runs a bit snug for my liking. Solid for street-to-trail days overall.
