The pull-on waistband with the drawcord is a small thing but it's why these stay put when I'm chasing my toddler around the park. Fabric has enough stretch for squatting and lunging without feeling flimsy, and the 4-inch length hits right where I want it.

Wore these on a 6-mile hike and the stretch fabric moved with me the whole way without riding up. The 4" length is just right too, not too short when I'm climbing over rocks.

The pull-on waistband with the drawcord is such a small thing but it makes these so easy to adjust mid-hike. Fabric has just enough stretch without feeling flimsy, and the 4" length is spot on for me.
