Took these out on a chilly morning hike and the merino kept me warm without that itchy feeling I usually get from wool layers. The updated fit sits snug but doesn't ride up when I bend, which is exactly what I wanted from a base layer bottom.
They finally fit like a real layer should—snug through the thighs without squeezing my knees on the pedal stroke. The merino keeps me dry on chilly morning rides and I’ve worn them three days straight without any smell.
I run cold on the lift every single time, but these tights with the 100% merino wool actually kept my legs warm through the whole chair ride. The updated fit hugs closer without any bunching under my shell pants, which makes a big difference. They’re already my go-to for early season mornings.
