Wore this out on a windy ridge hike and the toggle closure kept it locked down the whole time. The sweatband actually wicks instead of just soaking through, which made a huge difference on a 90-degree afternoon.
The wide brim actually killed the glare off the water while I was kayaking last weekend, which I didn't expect. Sweatband stayed dry enough that I forgot I was wearing it. The toggle closure kept it locked on when the wind picked up.
Wore this on a six-hour hike in full sun and my face never got that baked feeling. The wide brim really cuts the glare off the trail, and the sweatband stayed dry enough that I forgot I had it on.
