My daughter wore these all day at the lake and never once complained about rocks getting in, which is a first. The closed upper keeps the debris out while the drainage holes still let water pour right through.
These drained so fast after my son splashed through the creek all afternoon, and no sand got trapped inside thanks to the closed upper. He never once complained about them rubbing.
