After a sketchy parking garage in the city, I wanted something more than straps holding my basket down. The SKS lock cores feel solid and the brackets clamp tight to the crossbars with zero wobble at highway speed. Peace of mind for the price, honestly.
Swapped these onto my crossbars in about ten minutes and the SKS cores click solid — my LoadWarrior doesn't budge even on washboard gravel. Nice peace of mind knowing the basket can't just walk off in a parking lot.
The locks work fine and the basket hasn't budged, but getting the cores seated in the bracket took way more fiddling than it should have. For the price I expected the fit to be a bit tighter out of the box.
