Took these on a rocky river trip and the ground feel from the flexible sole honestly surprised me—I could balance on wet stones way better than in my old pair. The low profile keeps them from feeling clunky when I'm scrambling in and out of the kayak.
Wore these kayaking all day and my feet never felt waterlogged thanks to the self-draining outsole. The canvas upper dries fast and the ground feel is surprisingly good for how light they are.
The canvas upper dries fast after a quick dunk, and the flexible sole gives decent ground feel on wet rocks. Only gripe is the lack of cushioning on gravel, but for paddling days they're solid.
