Took this out in choppy marina water and it held firm where my old one dragged. The way it locks into the chute is a genuine relief, no more wrestling at the bow. Solid purchase for mixed conditions.

The fit in the chute is exactly what I needed—it locks in place without any wobble, even when the boat swings hard. Switched between sandy and weedy spots and it held steady both times. Happy with this one.

Took it out on a rocky lake bottom and a muddy river mouth over two trips, and it seated firm every single time I let it drop. The way it locks into the chute without wobbling is exactly what I needed.
