The garment-washed finish makes this feel broken-in from the first wear, no stiffness at all. The Vernon Plaid is understated enough for work but the slub cotton texture keeps it from looking too plain.

Wore this to a casual Friday lunch and got two compliments on the Vernon Plaid before I even sat down. The garment-washed finish makes it feel broken-in right out of the package, no stiff break-in period at all.

The cotton slub fabric feels substantial without being heavy, and the garment-washed finish makes it soft straight out of the package. Wore it to a casual Friday dinner and the Vernon Plaid got a couple of compliments.
