Wore these straight out of the box on a muddy trail and my feet stayed completely dry through two stream crossings. They're light enough that I forgot I had hikers on, and the women's-specific fit means no heel slipping on the downhills.
These have kept my feet bone dry through two muddy trail walks already, which is more than I expected from something this light. Only gripe is the ankle collar rubs a bit until you break them in.
