Wore these on a rocky ridge trail last weekend and the propulsion really surprised me—they push you forward on the climbs instead of dragging like regular sandals. The open airiness keeps my feet from overheating on long runs, though I did have to tighten the straps once mid-trail.
These feel way more propulsive than any sandal has a right to—I actually picked up speed on the downhills. The open design keeps my feet from overheating on long summer runs, and the sole still feels responsive enough for real trail work.
