We got caught in a proper downpour and my little one stayed completely dry underneath this. The DRYVENT shell really does keep the rain out while he doesn't get sweaty.
The hood stays put even when my toddler yanks at it, and the DRYVENT shell actually kept him dry through a solid downpour. Only gripe is the sleeves run a bit long on him.
Bought this for my two-year-old and the DRYVENT shell held up through a solid hour of puddle stomping without a single leak. Only gripe is the hood runs a bit big and flops forward when it's not snugged down.
