SKS tarkoittaa ”Same Key System” -järjestelmää. Tämän tyyppiset sydämet mahdollistavat kaikkien Yakima-tuotteidesi lukitsemisen yhdellä avaimella. Kun vaihdat sydämen Yakima-tuotteessasi, saatat tarvita Control-avaimen poistaaksesi olemassa olevan lukitsemattoman sydämen, jotta voit siirtää sydämen toiseen Yakima-tuotteeseen.
Swapping this core in means one key now opens the rack, the bike mount, and the cargo box, which is a small thing that saves a lot of fumbling in the parking lot. The same-key setup is exactly what I was after.
Finally got all my rack accessories on the same key with this core, no more digging through a ring of mismatched keys at the trailhead. The Same Key System is the whole reason I bought it, and it works exactly as described.
Swapped this lock core into my roof rack and now it matches the key I already use for everything else, so no more digging around the glovebox for the right one. Took a couple minutes with the control key to pop the old core out.
