The spare came already mounted on the rim, so I just bolted it onto the tongue and was done in ten minutes. Being able to slide it to different spots along the tongue is nice, keeps the weight where I want it. Solid kit for the money.
Wasn't expecting the spare to show up already mounted on the rim, that saved me a trip to the shop. The multiple mounting positions along the tongue are handy since I could shift it forward for better clearance. Solid setup overall.
The tire and rim came mounted and bolted onto the tongue fine, but the "multiple positions" really just means a couple of holes, so my fit was tighter than I hoped. It holds the spare securely on the highway, which is the main thing.
