Wore new hiking boots on a 12-mile trail and ended up with two angry blisters. The gel dressing cooled them instantly, and the antiseptic wipes gave me peace of mind since one had popped. By the next morning I could walk normally again.
Got a nasty kitchen burn and slapped one of these hydrogel dressings on right away — the cooling hit instantly and it stayed put through dishwashing. The antiseptic wipes in the kit were a nice touch for keeping the blister clean.
The antiseptic wipes in the kit are a nice touch for popping a blister without worrying about infection, and the gel patch cooled the sting right away. Only gripe is the patches don't stay put great once things get sweaty, but for the first day or two they're solid.
