Wore these on a week-long trip and the stretch really held up scrambling over rocks — never felt restricted once. The fabric is tougher than it looks too, no snags or tears after brushing against plenty of branches.
The stretch is genuinely nice on scrambles, but the fabric feels thinner than I hoped for the price. Fine for day hikes, though I wouldn't trust them bushwhacking through brush.
