Tossed this in my daypack for a weekend hike and ended up painting on a rock by the river for an hour. The 12 pans are way more pigment than I expected from a travel set, and everything fits back in the case without a mess.
Painted a quick little landscape at the lake last weekend and the 12 colors in this kit covered everything I needed, no extra tubes required. The whole set fits in the side pocket of my bag, so it's ready whenever I get a spare twenty minutes.
