Wore these on a muddy, rooty loop last weekend and the cushioning really smooths out the choppy bits without feeling mushy. The grip held fine on the moderate stuff, and my feet stayed comfortable through the whole run.

The cushioning is the standout for me on packed dirt and gravel paths, and the ride feels smooth without being mushy. Only gripe is they run a touch narrow in the toe box, so I'd size up if you have wider feet.

These handle packed dirt and gentle gravel fine, but the tread felt sketchy on wet roots and I had to slow way down. Cushioning is decent for a trail shoe and my feet weren't beat up after 6 miles, just wish the grip matched the price.
