The cushioning sits right where my heel and ball of my foot need it, and I didn't get a single blister on a long trail day. The low ankle cut stays put without slipping down into my boots.
Wore these on a rocky 8-mile hike and the targeted cushioning under the heel and ball of the foot really made a difference on the descents. The low ankle cut stays put without slipping into my shoe.
Wore these on a rocky 8-mile loop and the targeted cushioning under the ball of my foot made the descents noticeably less punishing. Only gripe is the low ankle cut lets a bit of grit in on sandy sections, but otherwise they stayed put without bunching.
