The gripper strip on the foam axe blades actually holds way better than I expected, even when my nephew hurls them full force. We've had it on the living room wall for two weeks and nothing's peeled off or lost its stick. Compact enough to stash in a drawer when guests leave.
The compact size makes it easy to toss in a bag for a cookout, but the foam axes start losing their stick after a dozen throws or so. It's fun for a quick round with kids, though I wouldn't count on it holding up for a whole afternoon.
