The waxed canvas has that stiff, sturdy feel that tells you it'll outlast a cheap nylon bag. The embossed metal tack on the front is a nice touch, and the whole thing wipes clean after a toothpaste leak.

Bought this for a two-week trip and the waxed canvas has held up great through being stuffed in and out of a carry-on. The metal tack on the front is a nice touch, and it opens wide enough that I'm not digging around for a toothbrush at 6am.

The waxed canvas feels properly sturdy and shrugs off spills in my gym bag. Only nitpick is the zipper is a bit stiff the first few times you open it, but it's breaking in fine.
