Wore these on a muddy six-mile loop last weekend and my feet stayed completely dry through the creek crossings — the GTX lining really does its job. They're lighter than my old leather hikers and the mid cut gives just enough ankle support without feeling bulky.

The recycled materials feel good in theory, but the ankle collar rubbed my heel raw the first two hikes before it finally softened up. Decent grip on wet rock, though I expected the mid cut to feel more supportive.
