The low profile makes it so much easier to stretch out by the fire instead of perching upright like a normal camp chair. I wasn't sure the blankets would be worth it, but they're genuinely buttery soft and I ended up using them every night of the trip.
The two blankets that come with this are genuinely buttery soft, not the scratchy fleece I was bracing for. I've been keeping it on the porch for cool evenings and the low seat is way more comfortable than my old folding chair.
Brought this to a chilly soccer tournament and the two included blankets made it feel like a real seat instead of just a frame. The low profile is comfy for lounging, though getting back up takes a little effort after a long game.
